I'm falling behind, so I'm trying to catch up with "thing 1." My immediate reactions are a little mixed. I love 2.0 and I love exploring 2.0, but I'm feeling as if "library" and "2.0" are on an uncomfortable first date. I'm glad to see libraries opening their arms to Web 2.0 and I thing progress is being made, but it will be a while before everyone in libraries gets on board.
To me, coming from the "old" library culture mindset (remembering the infamous shushing librarian), I feel guilty using Web 2.0. I find it more of a fun thing to do on my spare time, than something I do at work. Nevertheless, since I feel my spare time is falling ever so quickly into a bottomless pit, I'm glad to see NEFLIN's 23 Things forcing us to adapt.
Now my only problem is learning when to shut (my fingers) up from talking so much. But then again, I would not have anything written in my blog then would I ;)
